Why do we ignore the reality of life?

It is a quandry really, when one writes stories, that you want to be as realistic as possible, yet are hamstrung by the reluctance of society to accept that sex is natural. And I mean any sex, really, not just gay sex. I am referring to the laws of what is, and what isn’t acceptible. I mean, this whole concept of protecting children from the evil pornographers, is just really, political & religious crapola.

Parents have the primary obligation of protecting children, and yet, we too, have some obligation, but do we have more than the actual parents? I personally don’t think so, and yet I find myself self censoring mywork, because of the possible ramifications from these zealots, who profess to have the interests of chidlren at heart.

Sex is not something that just happens when you turn Eighteen.

Yet society today, in most civilized nations, seem to think that kids younger than eighteen are not sexually curious, or active. I frankly don’t understand this ‘ostrich‘ attitude of society. Kids are friggin parents at 14 and 15, and yet it is thought to be a rarity. I don’t know, but it seems to me, that simple denial of the truth, isn’t going to make it happen less often.

What Turns You On?

Free stories online hereWhen you choose a story to read, what is it about the story that makes you want to read it?

Is it the title, or the category it is listed under, or is it something else?

For example, one of my latest stories, Along the Garden Path, is a four part story. Does the title make you curious, or have no effect? Does it having four parts make you uninterested, because you just want a quick wank, or does it make you even more curious?

Some argue that all they want is a description of the characters, how hung they are, and how they fuck. They aren’t interested in how they met, or what they think, or even if it makes sense that they would be engaged in casual sex.

Are you one of those?

If so, I kind of think you won’t like my stories, because to me, a story is just that. It should tell a story, and yes, sometimes the story isn’t always pleasent, nor do they always have happyendings, though I try to make it happy. As to sex, well, of course it has sex, because in life, we have sex. Least I do, and I got a hunch so do you.

Problem is, rarely does it just happen. It takes something to draw the two together, or three, or four, or whatever, and that is what makes the story. Least I think so, but maybe I am too old fashioned. Perhaps I just think too much about it, and I should just crank out smut, where the formula is simple.

He saw him, he took his clothes off, they fucked, he went home.

Kind of boring don’t you think?

Why not check out my short stories, and see for yourself.  I have written over 200 short fiction stories, all of which are available for free. You can read them all for Free at Gaystoryman Fiction.     CUMMING?

Innocent Pay for the Guilty Few

You know, I wonder about people a lot, and about myself as well. I think at times that somehow the population has gotten dumber, or has simply turned their back on values and ethics. Yet perhaps, the fault lies with me, or my inability to change with the times. I don’t know which, because to me, being nice is easier than being a dick head, yet it seems more & more people are looking for fights, for arguments, instead of calm discussion.

Words like ‘boy’ become taboo in erotic writing, because some uptight zealot construes the meaning to be about underage children, or thinks it is some hidden code word for the evil Gay Agenda. ( By the way, I am still trying to find anyone who can enlightened me on just what is the Gay Agenda, and I have been out and proud for over 30 years now, & I still don’t know. ) Today it seems that nothing is judged on its context, but on the word itself.

Kids are taught to say ‘that is so gay’ in a derogatory way, ( meaning lame ) which makes me wonder, what is it about parents today? Oh hell, never mind parents how about leaders like George Bush, Stephen Harper, & Pope Benedict? What the hell did some gay do to them, that they revile homosexuals so much?

WORSE is that it makes writing more difficult. It creates a false impression of life, which it shouldn’t. Oh sure, some write simply to get people off, but many also try to use their writing abilities, to bridge gaps between the sides, between the factions of society. Maybe it is me, maybe I am imagining that having a bridge between those who oppose homosexuality and those who embrace it, is wrong. Yet something inside, says bridges have to be built, have to be constructed, if society itself is to survive.

Maybe it comes from wanting to just have our heads buried in the sand, but I don’t know, how many true to life 20 year old virgins do you know? When did you first experience sex, when you were eighteen or a darn site younger? See, that is what gets me, we say kids aren’t legal until eighteen, that certain things can’t be discussed, can’t be shown, but we forget, we knew it pretty well long before our eighteenth birthday.

Hardest Part

story inspirationsYou know, with over 200 short stories written, it gets rather difficult to figure out, what to write about.

Seriously, it isn’t easy to come up with new situations, that are realistic, where a person can get lucky in. I mean sure there are lots of situations, where people come into contact with others, but more often than not, they don’t lead to a frantic night in the sack, or do they?

Any Suggestions?

Telling a Story

Telling StoriesHave you ever wondered what drives a story?

Seriously, think you can write a good story, that isn’t just a collection of words, but which gets people horny, or makes them think about life?

You know, I have been doing this for some time, and frankly I rather enjoy the stories I write, but lately it has been a struggle. Not sure if it simplywhat they call writer’s block, or something else.

Some will say that their works are driven by personal experiences, but in all honesty, just how many writers are also spending every second experiencing some sexual rapture? Like unless they are 20 something, or take some sex pill every day, the odds are that it is all made up, or a work taken from their dreams, or wishful thinking?

Okay, maye some do write with some basis of fact, but it is certainly embelished, otherwise it just simply doesn’t sell. Maybe that is part of the whole problem, we expect the stories we read to do nothing but fuel our fantasies, rather than be realistic.

Perhaps that is my problem, I want to tell a story, not just find new ways to get a stiffy, to make the reader get horny. I mean there has to be more to life, to fiction. Even in our dreams, don’t we want them to be based on what could be? I mean how likely is it that a guy who is fat, weighs a ton, is going to get some skinny twink to be their sex toy?

Do we think that ‘if only’ we could? Or does it simply feed into our need to be aroused, to escape reality?
